About Eugene Ryan

Eugene has a wealth of experience not only from an audio engineering point, but also as a qualified Electronic Music Producer with a number of albums and singles available on iTunes, Spotify, Beatport, Soundcloud and all other leading digital platforms. Eugene is also an experienced Cubase, Reason and Logic Pro X user and contributes his knowledge to a number of user forums.

The Manchester Punk scene was a big part of my life. Originally I studied art at Manchester Polytechnic and worked part time at a garage with Vini Reilly of the Durutti Column who was one of the first artists signed to Factory Records.

I later went on to work with Ian Curtis of Joy Division and introduced him to Vini. A normal weekend for me was stood shoulder to shoulder at various Manchester venues with the likes of Tony Wilson, John Cooper Clarke, The Buzzcocks and The Fall.
